On August 20, 2026, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, awarded Colonel (General Staff) Mudathir Othman Abdelrahman the Second-Class Medal of Bravery, in recognition of his services and sacrifices, and the courage, determination and selflessness he demonstrated while carrying out his national duty.

Colonel Mudathir Othman Abdelrahman is an officer in the Sudanese Armed Forces and serves as Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
