KHARTOUM (Sudanow) - Sudanow congratulates Dr. Hazim Awad al-Kareem, the magazine’s legal advisor and one of its long time sources for useful stories and ideas, who has been appointed legal advisor for the international SOS Children's Villages.
SOS Children's Villages is the largest independent, non-governmental, nonprofit international development organization headquartered in Innsbruck, Austria. The organization provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children in need and protects their interests and rights around the world. The first SOS Children's Village was founded in 1949 in Tyrol, Austria by an Austrian philanthropist Hermann Gmeiner. Today, SOS Children's Villages is active in 135 countries and territories worldwide.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Cairo, Khartoum Branch, Hazim has been a professor of law at various universalities and higher education institutions in the Sudan.
He serves as Director General for Master Center on Legal Consultancies and Services. He is producer and presenter for a legal affairs TV programme known as “According to the Law”. He also is the Secretary General of both the Organization for the Assistance of Students in Need and the Academic Affairs for the Sudanese Italian Friendship Society in the Sudan.
Hazim has worked as a legal consultant for numerous local and international institutions and member of board of directors of many companies including the Arab Media professionals in the Euro- Mediterranean sub- region.
