Thirty Cases Of COVID-19 Confirmed In Sudan, Including Four Deaths

KHARTOUM (Sudanow) – Sudan has registered on Saturday 30 confirmed cases of COVID-19 including four deathes.
The Federal Minister of Health Dr Akram Ali al-Toam said within Khartoum State 27 cases were confirmed on Friday the 17th of April, including two foreigners.
He said three cases, two from White Nile state and one from al Gazira state, were also registered for the same day, bringing the country’s total confirmed cases to 66 including 10 fatalities.
According to the minister detailed report, the fatalities included two males and two females, all from within Khartoum state, the national capital of the Sudan.
The report added that infection was contracted by varied means including intermingling with patients or involving people arriving from abroad.
Sixty one of the cases were registered in Khartoum state alone, in addition to one case from the Nahr al-Nil state, northern Sudan, three from the White Nile south western central Sudan and one from Gazira state, central Sudan.
