Khartoum, (Sudanow) - Ambassador Tomas Ulicny, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Sudan addressed a reception of 500 guests who attended the occasion of Europe Day, the launching of the Sudanese European Friendship Association and the Sudanese European Parliamentary Group.

I also welcome Mr. Gamal El-Wali who as of today officially assumes the position as Chairman of the European Sudanese Friendship Association. Under the mentorship of the Speaker, he is also the initiator of the Sudanese-European Parliamentary Friendship Group. Both ventures have been underway for more than one year and I am proud to celebrate their official launch tonight in your presence.
