President of the Republic, Omer Al-Bashir, returned to Khartoum evening Monday

Khartoum, Sept. 17 (SUNA/ sudanow.info.sd) - President of the Republic, Omer Al-Bashir, returned to Khartoum evening Monday following a two day state visit to Cairo where he met with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Morsi, and with the Egyptian Prime minister and other senior officials, as well as businessmen, media and social organizations leaders.
He was received at Khartoum Airport by the First Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, and a number of senior officials.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister, Ali Karti, said that the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Hisham Gindeel, would begin a visit to Sudan next Wednesday to sign an agreement for opening check points agreements and to inaugurate the Branch of the Egyptian Al-Ahli Bank in Khartoum.
Karti said that the Egyptian Prime Minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation which will include Egyptian businessmen.
He pointed to an agreement between Sudan and Egypt to extend electricity power for the agricultural projects at the western bank of the Nile.
He said that the talks between the two countries included economic and investment cooperation in the agricultural and industrial fields as well as the implementation of agreement of the four freedoms.
On the issue of Halaib, said hat Sudan has called for regarding Halaib area as one for integration between Sudan and Egypt, adding that dialogue is continuing between the two parties on rendering this as one for cooperation between the two counters.
