Sudan welcomes the reelection of President Obama for a second term

KHARTOUM, (sudanow.info.sd) - Sudan on Wednesday welcomed the re-election of President Barak Obama for a second term in office expressing hope that the second term would see lifting of sanctions imposed by the United States and removing the name of Sudan from the list of states America considers sponsors of international terrorism.
"Within the context of dealing positively with the slogan of change Obama raised , the government of Sudan would be very keen to engage into a serious and responsible dialogue with the United states of America. Such a dialogue will lead to boosting stability and peace in the Sudan and would see the name of Sudan removed from the American list of states sponsor of terrorism and the lifting of unjust sanctions unilaterally imposed" on the Sudan, a Statement issued by the Sudan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said.
The statement carried by the Sudan News Agency SUNA expressed hope that President Obama would be free from pressure from interests and lobby groups and that he would deal positively with issues relevant to the Arab and Muslim worlds.
The statement congratulated president Obama and the American people for such an important and influential elections in the states.
