Ethiopia’s foreign relation centers on economic diplomacy: FM Dr.Tewodros

Adis Ababa (Sudanow)- The Newly appointed Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Tewodros Adhanom said economic diplomacy has been the hallmark of government’s foreign relation to contribute to the socio-economic development endeavors of the country.
FM Dr. Tewodros has been officially introduced to the diplomatic community in Addis Ababa on Friday at the Sheraton Addis. On the occasion, the FM said Ethiopia seeks support from its development partners for the realization of the Growth and Transformation Plan. The FM said Ethiopia would always remain resolute to ensure peace and stability in the horn of Africa.
Dr. Tewodros reaffirmed that Ethiopia would exert utmost effort in finding sustainable peace and stability between the two sudans. The FM called on the international community to provide support to maintain the regained peace and the reconstruction of the country. Ethiopia’s diplomatic relation is focused on poverty reduction, he said and adding, the efforts have enabled the nation to be one of the fastest economic growth. Before becoming FM , Dr.Tewodros has been serving as health minister of the country where he won several international awards for his outstanding achievements in the sector.
