President Al-Bashir thanked the ministers for their performance in office
03 December, 2013By: Mohammed Osman
Khartoum, (Sudanow)- The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omar Al-Bashir on Tuesday thanked the ministers for their performance in office in a gesture of forming a new cabinet in the upcoming few days.
The farewell courtesy was made in an extra-ordinary cabinet meeting obviously to prepare the scene for a long-awaited reshuffle in which many veteran ministers, state ministers and governors of the states are speculated to give way to new, probably youthful faces.
“The President has expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Ministers and the State Ministers in improving the government performance and for their participation in the broad based government” the Sudan News Agency SUNA reported, adding that “this ministerial reshuffle which will take place shortly does not mean, in any way, that the performance (of outgoing ministers) was weak. It is but a matter brought about by the political responsibility.”
