Chad will export some of its oil via Sudan

Khartoum, Sudan (sudanow) – The landlocked Chad will export its oil produced in the eastern region via Sudan, as part of close cooperation between Khartoum and Ndjamena in the petroleum domain.

  "Sudan has concluded agreement with Chad to use Sudanese ports on the red sea to export all Chad petrol produced in Eastern Chad." Sudan's ambassador to Chad, Abdullah Al Sheikh, told the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), adding that the two sides have also agreed to cooperate in oil exploration, storing, training and establishment of a joint company to work in oil projects and oil fields development.

Sheikh has pointed out that the current presidential term of president Debby in Chad would witness completion of various development projects between eh two sides including  the completion of a railway line linking the two country , emanating from Nyala, south Darfur, to inside the Chadian territories by the year 2012. He said Chad would expand the lien from the up to its borders with Cameroun.
