Sudan Elected Deputy Chairperson of AIPG
07 December, 2015KHARTOUM (SUDANOW) – The Sudan representative has been elected deputy chairperson of the Association for International Promotion of Gums (AIPG) during the final meetings for this year in Paris.
The Hamburg, Germany, based AIPG is responsible for the promotion of natural gums particularly Gum Arabic and plays a major role in legislations concerning gum usages in the world. It groups more than forty member states representing the producing, consuming, importing and manufacturing countries.
The Sudan representative Dr. Musa Mohamed Karama has been elected deputy chairperson of the association for the second time while the post of chair goes to Ms. Oalreck Singlman, a German national.
Chairperson of the Gum Arabic Council Dr. Taj al-Sir Mustafa led the Sudan delegation to the meetings.
