Arab Forum on Terrorism Opens Thursday in Khartoum

KHARTOUM (Sudanow.info.sd) – A regional workshop on the role of Arab media in combating terrorism will be opened in Khartoum tomorrow (Thursday).
According to the Sudanese Minister of Information, Ahmed Bilal Osman, the opening session will be addressed by First Vice President Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed bin Hali and the Sudanese Islamic thinker Isam Ahmed al-Bashir.
The two-day forum will discuss three papers in addition to holding a panel of discussion in the International University of Africa.
Osman said Arab information ministers of Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania and Somalia will participate in the forum beside a number of Arab thinkers.
The forum would come up with a document called Khartoum Declaration to be handed over to President Omar al-Bashir at the end of the gathering.
